Remember Ale at Amberley 6?

Seems a long time ago - but we got through around 70 barrels of ale plus a not insignificant number of ciders and perries. Here's a reminder.

Last year's festival was opened by Roger Protz, editor of the beer drinkers' bible, The Good Beer Guide, published annually by The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). He is seen here with Dr Claire Seymour (left) curator at the Museum, and Ruth Dewdney, the office administrator.
(Roger's the one in the middle!)

On Saturday and Sunday we were entertained by morris dancers, including Cuckoo's Nest, a Brighton based side,
seen here .

We do our best to encourage responsible drinking, of course ....

.... but will deal severely with those not toeing the line (only joking!)

And just in case you need any further encouragement ...
Last year's Beer List
is here!

And we had music .....
We have Music
on Saturday night.

Thanks to Cardinal Sin & the Preachers.

Their appearence at the Festival was sponsored by
Brighton and South Downs Branch CAMRA Young Members .

Oh yes, I nearly forgot - we had this bit of tomfoolery as well:
